Conscious Creativity

Voicing the Wisdom Within

A sense of the sacred emerges

through conscious intentional creativity, as a

voice emerges in times of great emotion and

inspiration. All around us, people explore

their creative embodiment through movement,

voice, and language. It is our imagination, our

spirit, matching the dancer's, singer's, and

poet's dream. We move because they move.

We are left with wonder for the richness

of self expression, the creative choices that

are available, and endless possibilities

as the exploration of life, and healing

continue...

Creativity as Rebellion

Daily acts of creativity are tiny rebellions,

advocating for the rights of ostranenie, to see

deeply with new eyes what is random and

ordinary, as strange and extraordinary. Here's a

quick and dirty list, to help reclaim your inner

creative.

1. Cultivate Curiosity. Ask questions, allowing for the unknown, and possible failure.

2. Cultivate being in the here and now. Trust in the process, immersing in the present moment.

3. Cultivate Mindfulness. Notice the space between the thoughts where there is stillness and quiet, connecting to yourself, and all that is.

4. Cultivate Sensuality. Use all of your senses, taking yourself out into nature, or somewhere unfamiliar.

5. Cultivate Simplicity. Embrace the lure of becoming, following your energy, intuition, and the Creative Force.

The endowment of creativity, the omnipotent

divine universal force, as it flows through

and surrounds us, is a state of wonder, and

reverence. It’s the longing to connect, diving past

the inner critic, and deeper into the well where

{mind, body, and spirit} reside as one. The

fruition of creativity bridges the great divide

between self, and other.

By following what you love, what you find beautiful, and what you fear, you begin to individuate. There's a perceptible shift of connecting creativity, play, and imagination to the realms of spirituality.

And, we are the conduits.
