What To Expect
Couples therapy is alive, directive and explorative. It is a process of reviewing your relationship, inviting personal growth and coming to terms with the unknown, as well as the next step.
It involves moving towards a direction of clarity, with an aim for authentic communication, while providing tools for deeper connection, and finding comfort with authenticity and vulnerability.
Vulnerability is the door to true intimacy: show up, be seen and ask for what you need.
Our work focuses on cultivating and strengthening what truly works for you and your partner through willingness, understanding and self awareness. You will be invited to use relationship principles based on being seen, heard, valued and accepted.
We will explore how to honor each other’s experiences, while recognizing your own. We will also view the fulfillment of your full-self as a continuous process, as you stay connected with yourself and your partner in relationship.
My practice is founded on inclusion, diversity and equity, valuing the esteem of all genders and orientations and is poly and kink friendly.
